Update! Version 0.1.3!


Hey all! Another update for you!

Version 0.1.3 Has some features I've wanted for a while.

  • Shopkeeper and Gold system!
  • More items!
  • Double Strike attack!
  • Minor map visual changes, chest locations changing, and other additions.
  • New enemy teasers

The shopkeeper currently resides in Camp Manteau. He sells fruit, and plenty of equipment, including new items! Find gold around the world in chests to spend here. I've wanted more early build variety early on, and the shop helps a lot with that.

New items include:

  • Offhand Iron Kite Shield (Defensive item)
  • Offhand Novice Conduit (Mage item) 
  • Mainhand Iron Falchion (Stronger than Short Dagger, but weaker than Sword of Omens)

Double Strike Attack:

Rogue classes, I didn't forget you! Items that you may dual wield now add a unique attack if you wield two of the same item!  This Double Strike attack replaces the offhand skill slot, and is the first multihit move in the game. Attack with your weapons dealing 1/2 damage twice in one turn, with all the quirks that come along with it (e.g. 2x Crit rolls, 2x Miss rolls, 2x extra weapon effects.) Try using it with dual Cultist Daggers (which you can now get 2 of!)

Map Changes:

Some visual changes have been made, including some new tiles for walls, and grass tops of walls and various ground tiles and environmental pieces have been placed in barren areas.  New chests have been added to every area that include gold to spend at the new shop, and some items have been moved around to better the flow of progression. Also some enemies and NPCs have been added to Jangustown as a teaser for what is to come!
