Update! Version 0.1.1!


Hey all, a new build just dropped with tons of fixes and some new additions!

New content:

New enemy: Squirrelie, an easy enemy for an easier time early on

New areas / Changes:

  • Ocean Grove: Made smaller, and removed some enemy spawns. This was done to direct the player to the right, and to not ambush the player with enemies off the bat. 
  • Ocean Grove Path: An area that links the village and ocean grove together.
  • New path on Grassland North: The east path lets you go to Jangustown very quickly. It also links to Sidewinder Cave, but beware, the enemies in the cave are still tough! 
  •  Jangustown Open! And with a new NPC that gives you a new consumable item.

(More to come northwest of Jangustown soon. Currently you cannot go to Jangusfields, but stay tuned!)

  • Grassland Mage Leg slot item moved to Grassland North's east path.

Balance Changes

  • Overworld enemies no longer follow you forever. If you exit their spawn zone, they will return to their start location.
  • Various enemy spawner battle layouts toned down / changed locations
  • Drip given engulf instead of body slam. Effectively does 3 damage instead of 4 when selecting that move.
  • Drip nimbleness from 5 to 3.
  • Deeranged Keenness and Nimbleness toned down both from 12 to 8.

Visual Updates:

  • Tile updates, and new tilesets added in various locations for visual fidelity, and to make certain areas stand out.
  • Inventory is now a 5x3 2D inventory panel, as wanted by the community. To change packs, go all the way left, then hit up or down.
  • Enemies now have 2 different overworld sprites. The new smaller one denotes the battle will be easier.

Bug Fixes:

  • In battle, dead enemies cannot attack anymore
  • Various collision boxes fixed
